Fees and payments

All fees paid for access to PersonalSynthesis.com website are one-off fee payments.

Our prices are set based on limitations of liability and the disclaimers of warranties in this section. You acknowledge that they will survive and apply even if found to have failed their essential purpose.

If you are dissatisfied with our Services or believe that you’ve been harmed by your use of our Services or this Agreement, you may terminate your use of our Services (as set out above). That termination is your sole and exclusive remedy (and our sole and exclusive liability) under this Agreement.

Educational Institutions – Subscription Rate and User Permissions

Educational Institutions can arrange a subscription through their Library or an Education Centre. The Terms and Conditions that apply to this type of subscription are set out below.

Educational Institutions may only subscribe as a full subscriber with the fee for this subscription set at 147 GBP per annum.

TERMS and CONDITIONS of a Full Educational Institution subscription.

Scope of License. Institutional Subscriber Use Restrictions

Under this Agreement, Subscribing Institutions are granted a nonexclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access Personal Synthesis website. Authorised Users must be employees, faculty, staff, and students officially affiliated with the Subscribing Institution and authorised clients of the Subscribing Institution’s library facilities. This includes occasional users who access Personal Synthesis website through stations physically located on the site and under the control and administration of the Subscribing Institution.

This subscription entitles Authorised Users to access Personal Synthesis website and:

make one hard copy of each publication if required for personal and educational use; such copies must not be shared with non-authorised users. Authorised Users who do print articles must maintain all copyright and other notices on the printed articles.
download Publications to hard disk or other electronic storage device. Authorised Users who do download publications must maintain all copyright and other notices on the publications.

An Authorised User may not make any Personal Synthesis website materials available electronically to any other person. This Agreement is enforceable only against and by the parties who have executed it; the Agreement neither creates nor restricts rights in third parties.

We understand that the Subscribing Institution is unable to practically enforce the terms of the Agreement for third parties. However, the Subscribing Institution agrees to make reasonable efforts to take appropriate action should they become aware of any misuse that would violate the terms of the agreement and that the Subscribing Institution will continue to promote an environment that does not allow for abuse of the terms of the Agreement such as regularly changing the allocated password to Personal Synthesis website.

Terms and Fees

This Agreement will last for a 12 month period from the time of first subscribing to Analysing Agriculture. This Agreement will remain in effect thereafter for successive subscription years so long as annual subscription fees are paid, subject to any new terms and/or conditions required by Personal Synthesis website at that time and shared with the Subscribing Institution 30 days in advance.

Both Personal Synthesis website and the Subscribing Institution have the right to terminate this Agreement at the end of a subscription year by written notice given at least 30 days before the end of the subscription year. Access to material via the Personal Synthesis website is for the length of the Agreement period only. There is no access to material via the Personal Synthesis website after the Agreement is terminated.

Personal Synthesis website reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its Publications online without prior notice if the Subscribing Institution or any Authorised User of the Subscribing Institution violates any term of this Agreement.

Copyright

Analysing Agriculture is the owner of all right, title, and interest, including copyright, translation rights, redistribution rights, and the right to produce the material in alternate media, for any and all material that can be accessed under this Agreement.

The Subscribing Institution acknowledges that it has no claim to ownership by reason of its use of or access to info(@)personalsynthesis.com. Downloading or photocopying of the data is permitted for personal or educational use. Other recompiling, copying, publication, or republication of the data, or any portion thereof, in any form or medium whatsoever, may be done only with specific written permission from Analysing Agriculture.

Liability

Subscribing Institution’s sole and exclusive remedy for damages and or loss in any way connected with this License shall be limited to the amount of the License Fee. Under no circumstances shall Personal Synthesis website be liable to the Subscribing Institution or any other person, including but not limited to authorised users, for any special, incidental, or consequential damages of any character, including without limitation, damages arising out of inability to access Personal Synthesis website Publications or errors or inaccuracies in the publications’ content.

General

This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties hereto and supersedes all prior oral and written and all contemporaneous oral negotiations, commitments and understandings. The various headings in this Agreement are informational only and do not limit the scope or content of the subject matter contained therein. No waiver, amendment, or modification of this Agreement shall be effective unless it is in writing and signed by the parties hereto.
The Subscribing Institution may not assign or transfer its rights under this Agreement.
Should any provision of this Agreement be held to be void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force
